TMDP Chair Thakur leaving for India today

RAUTAHAT, Jan 17:  Chairman of Terai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) Mahanth Thakur   is leaving for New Delhi, India for health trip, on Sunday.

Thakur is  heading to New Delhi for  health treatment at a time when talks between agitating Madhesi Morcha and major parties is said to be at final stage.

Thakur, who is scheduled to fly to India at around 4 pm via a Jet Airways airplane today, is also scheduled to hold  high-level talks with Indian leaders during his trip to India.

“I am heading to India for the treatment of my leg at Delhi-based Medant Hospital,” Thakur told Myrepublica over  telephone, adding,  “There might be also political meetings with India leaders after the treatment”.

Thakur further informed that the ongoing talks between major political parties and agitating Madhesi morcha is progressing on positive way and his side is ready to exhibit utmost flexibility to take the talks into a logical conclusion.
