The evening will include “Nainavati,” a traditional Nepali folk play by the drama students of L’Art en Poche which will be accompanied by original performances by tabla and vocal students.[break]
The 35 deprived children from Saathi Home Shelters will be performing the drama, vocals and tabla.
“The students are being reintegrated in artistic endeavors by L’Art en Poche,” said Marie de Valensart, organizer of the event.
The play and musical performances are directed by Aashant Sharma, member of the Actor’s Studio, and Bibek Bhattarai and Pramod Upadhaya from from the Sukarma musical ensemble.

All proceeds from the Kala Saanjh event will go to open up new art classes for the deprived children of Kathmandu.
