KATHMANDU, Sept. 28: The concerned experts have said the Sita Air plane crash on Friday could also be because of technical hitches.

Speaking at an interaction organized by the Reporter´s Club in the capital, Chairman of Nepal Airlines Operation Association and pilot Rameshwor Thapa said even the technical hitches and management´s pressure could be the reason behind the crash.

He urged all not to doubt pilot´s role because the Sita air plane crashed today, as there was no condition of ´circuit completion´ while making emergency landing.

Mr Thapa argued that pilot Bijay Tandukar was very experienced one.

Similarly, another pilot Rabindra Kumar Sherchan claimed that the pilots in our air are excellent ones in the world. Only pilots are not reasons behind the crash, he argued, expressing dissatisfaction that the blame goes on pilot because he is dead.

"Although it was said a bird hit the plane, the managerial and technical reasons can´t be ignored," Mr Sherchan stressed.

Moreover, he pointed out the need of implementing the recommendations of probe committee to prevent further crisis.
