On Thursday night, the 26-year-old hit 60 million followers just days after her more saucy online competitor reached 55 million.
Taylor got an early Christmas present with her social media fans hitting the big six-zero.
The Shake It Off star celebrated the milestone in a rather low key manner, thanking her fans for their support.
She wrote on Instagram: 'Well would you look at that. Thanks for the 60 million followers situation guys! Merry Christmas indeed.'
Nipping at her social media tail is, of course, Kim who hit 55 million followers over the weekend.
The reality star celebrated with one of her signature pouty faces.
Just behind her is Beyonce, who is sitting perilously close to Kim on 54.6 million.
Taylor has made it to the top of the pile with her signature blend of cute, smart and silly - plus a lot of pictures of her cat Olivia Benson.
