KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has called for unity against corruption, injustice, and discrimination, urging the nation to move forward on the path of good governance and prosperity.
Extending his best wishes on the occasion of Democracy Day today, Lamichhane made this appeal. He urged all Nepalis to work together to strengthen citizens’ rights, equality, and accountable governance by internalizing the true spirit of democracy.

On the same occasion, Lamichhane also extended his greetings for the holy month of Ramadan, which began yesterday. He expressed his hope that Ramadan would further strengthen the spirit of peace, tolerance, harmony, and national unity.
“Ramadan Mubarak to the entire Muslim community on the commencement of the holy month yesterday! May this month inspire greater peace, tolerance, harmony, and unity,” he said.
