The students showed black flags in protest to the Maoist government minister while he was heading to Sanhaitha, where he was scheduled to attend a function being held to commemorate an anniversary of the father of Ramrijhan Yadav, the press advisor of the prime minister.
A brief scuffle between NSU activists and police took place after police intervened in the protest.
