Singh accuses Maoists of lengthening stay in power

CHITWAN, Oct 28: Nepali Congress general secretary Prakashman Singh has accused the incumbent government of exercising to lengthen its stay in power.



Talking to media persons briefly at Bharatpur Airport on Sunday, leader Singh claimed the decision of UCPN (Maoist) to dissolve the Constituent Assembly was intended at remaining in power and added that political consensus would not be possible until and unless the government steps down.[break]



Leader Singh was here in course of attending a tea reception and a greetings-exchange programme organised by the party on the occasion of the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
