KATHMANDU, Sept 17: The CEO of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA), Sushil Gyewali says Rs 600 billion more is required to complete the reconstruction work.

In a discussion with the representatives of International Monetary Fund on Sunday, Gyewali said a total of Rs 336 billion will be spent by the end of the current fiscal year for reconstruction.


“We are discussing with the donors and development partners to manage additional funds,” he informed Republica. The NRA spent Rs 22 billion in the first year, Rs 49 billion in the second year and Rs 114 billion in the third year after the 2015 earthquakes.
