KATHMANDU, March 10: A dissident faction of Rastriya Prajatantra Party - Nepal (RPP-N) announced a parallel central committee on Monday. The faction organized a press conference on Monday and informed that Padma Sundar Lawati is the chairman of the parallel committee while Ganesh Sherchan is co-chairman.

Dil Bikas Rajbhandari, Pralhad Sah, Satyaman Lama, Sonelal Yadav, Rama Thapa and Rup Singh Thapa are vice-chairpersons of the 164-member committee. Shyam Timalsina, Bal Krishna Neupane and Ramu Rai are assigned as general secretaries while Tirtha Prasad Shrestha is appointed as treasurer.
