Rolpa cement factory resumes

ROLPA, Aug 11: A cement factory at Budhagaun of Rolpa Triveni Rural Municipality has resumed production after 10 days disruption.

ROLPA, Aug 11: A cement factory at Budhagaun of Rolpa Triveni Rural Municipality has resumed production after 10 days disruption. 



The cement factory established in 2066 BS was closed due to misunderstanding between locals, industry owner and tipper entrepreneurs.

The factory resumed production following the consensus among the disputed sides. An agreement was reached that the factory would to provide Rs 835 per ton as the transport fare from the factory to Ameliya, Dang based depot. However the tipper entrepreneurs were demanding Rs 900 for the same. 


As per the agreement, 10 tippers will daily transport the cement. The factory daily produces 2,500 sacks of cement.
