The mad dog began attacking people since early morning and making around 30 victims by the evening Sunday.
The victims are commoners, commuters, cyclists and motorcyclists in the wards.
Even children on their way to school were not spared by the mad dog.
As a result, people bitten by the rabid dog took anti-rabies vaccine at the Koshi Zonal Hospital.
It may be noted that the Municipality had stopped killing street dogs following objection by animal rights activists in the city.
