The leakage of question papers is said to be done in collusion with a group involved in running nursing exam preparation classes under the CTEVT and the CTEVT Officials.
It has been learnt that the CTEVT Officials, technicians of the private nursing homes, and owners of the institutes that conducted preparation classes for the examinations under the CTEVT leaked out the papers two days prior to the examinations and supplied them to the candidates in various parts in the east, taking large amount of money.
The leakage of the question papers was confirmed over phone by those involved in the misconduct with the guardians, saying "Your children have been supplied the question papers and learned the answers by heart, so do not worry, they will pass the examinations."
The gang is learnt to have taken Rs 130,000 to Rs 200,000 from each candidate and supplied the question papers to them.
Meanwhile, Raju Khadka, the Administrative Officer of the CTEVT, said that he had also heard the news about the leakage of question papers, through CTEVT Controller of the Examinations, Ramesh Bakhati. "We have called a meeting of the examination committee on Sunday to decide on the examination held on Saturday," said Khadka.
