KATHMANDU, March 15: Pro-monarchy protestors staged a demonstration in front of the Narayanhiti Palace Museum on Saturday, demanding the restoration of the monarchy.
Protesters, including participants in a motorcycle rally from Samakhusi, gathered at Narayanhiti Palace, where the former kings used to reside and chanted slogans demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy in the country. The agitating protestors called for the ruling parties to vacate the palace for the king's return while chanting, "The king will return soon."

The protests come at a time when the activities of pro-monarchy groups have lately intensified. They have vowed to continue their movement to restore the monarchy in the country.
