KATHMANDU, March 15: There is now a partial influence of westerly and local wind in the country. The weather in hilly areas, including that of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, will remain partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the areas would remain partly to generally fair today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), rainfall is likely at one or two places in the Sudurpaschim Province.

There is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the country. According to the MFD, light snowfall has been forecast at one or two places in high-hilly and mountainous regions.
Today, partly to generally cloudy weather is likely in hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province, Lumbini Province, and Karnali Province, while the places of the country would witness mainly fair weather.
Light rainfall with thunder and lightning has been predicted in a few hilly areas of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
Similarly, there is a possibility of light rainfall along with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of the remaining provinces. Light snowfall would take place at a few places of high hilly and mountainous regions of the Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province, as well as one or two places of the mountainous region of the other provinces.
