On March 28, the protest led by Prasai in Kathmandu’s Tinkune turned violent, resulting in the deaths of two people and incidents of arson, looting and property damage. He also reportedly tried to run over security personnel with a vehicle and fled the scene.
Recently, Prasai went live on Facebook and said he would surrender within 24 hours if his safety was guaranteed.
