PM calls Mahato to inquire about his health status

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli this evening inquired about the health condition of President of Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato. Mahato is currently in New Delhi, India for treatment.

In a telephone conversation with Mahato, Prime Minister Oli also wished him speedy recovery, according to the PM's chief personal secretary Indra Bhandari.


Leader Mahato had been injured in course of a clash with police during a sit-in staged at the Biratnagar-Jogbani transit point, as part of the agitation in the Tarai. Following treatment in Biratnagar and Dharan, Mahato was flown to Delhi for advanced medical treatment. RSS
