KATHMANDU, Dec 23: A pedestrian in Kathmandu Metropolitan City–32 died after being struck by a motorcycle on Monday night.
According to the Valley Traffic Police Office, the incident involved a motorcycle bearing registration number Ba 89 Pa 6365. The approximately 60-year-old male pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident and later succumbed to them while receiving treatment at the National Trauma Center.

Police have taken the motorcycle rider into custody and are conducting a detailed investigation into the accident, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi.
