KATHMANDU, Oct 28: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motorcycle, Ba 80 Pa 5008, at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-13 on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Saraswati Khadka of Dolakha, who was currently staying in Madhyapur Thimi. She was hit while crossing the road through zebra crossing.

Similarly, Pratima Chaudhari, 18, of Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-16 was killed after she was stuck by a bus Na 4 Kha 7394, at Ramdhunebhasi Municipality-5 along the East West Highway.
Chaudhari, who was rushed to District Hospital, Inaruwa, breathed her last while undergoing treatment.
