KATHMANDU, March 23: A person was found dead at the parking area of a picnic spot in Bode Nilbarahi, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-9 of Bhaktapur on Sunday morning.
According to the District Police Office Bhaktapur, the deceased has been identified as Om Prakash Rai, 66, originally hailing from Kepilasgadhi -2, Khotang and currently residing in Bode. He worked as a scrap collector. The circumstances surrounding the incident are suspicious, according to the police.

According to police, Rai was found with injuries near his ear and on his head. Police said that it appears he was hit with a stone, and a bloodstained stone was also found near the crime scene.
Police have not yet arrested anyone involved in the incident. They have initiated an investigation into the matter.
