According to Lahan police, Yadav was on his way home when he was abducted by an unidentified group. The police have recovered his motorcycle.
Yadav is the sole bread winner of the family. The Yadav family has been living in a quarter provided by the office.
Meanwhile, office assistant Saraj Narayan said Hussain had warned him of dire consequences if the latter kept on talking against him. Worried Saraj Narayan has sought protection from area administration office chief Raju Prasad Shah.
On the other hand, issuing a statement, employee association in Siraha has demanded safe release of Yadav and due punishment to Hussein.
“Hussein must be arrested immediately. Or else, we will halt functioning of all the government offices in the district,” said Pradeep Kumar Goite, coordinator of Joint struggle committee of employees.
Meanwhile, Chief District Officer of Siraha Dhruba Kumar Dhakal assured of speedy investigation into the incident and safe release of Yadav.
