KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Hyundai's New Generation i20 has received the 'Golden Steering Wheel 2015' award amid a ceremony held at the building of Axel Springer Publishing in Berlin, Germany.
According to the company, the compact car won the readers' choice award in its segment and secured one of the most acclaimed accolades in the automotive industry.

Peter Schreyer, president and chief design officer of Hyundai Motor Group, received the prize. "We are really proud that readers are so impressed by one of the youngest members of our product family. It is further proof that we are making good progress in design, quality and craftsmanship," Schreyer said.
Organised by the German automotive magazine Auto Bild and the weekly newspaper Bildam Sonntag, the awards program was conducted in cooperation with sister publications of 20 countries.
Across Europe, 425,000 readers participated in the voting, according to the company.
