New Diamond registered a hard fought 3-2 win over Nepal Police Club in the first semifinal played at its home court. New Diamond staged a heroic comeback after losing the first two sets 25-22, 25-22. Under pressure to win all three remaining sets to keep its hope of making into the final, New Diamond won them 25-22, 25-22, 15-11 to stun departmental giant.In another semifinal, APF pulled a comfortable 3-0 win over Western Region. APF registered a 25-7, 25-17, 25-12 win. The final between APF and New Diamond and the third-place match between Police and Western Region will be played on Wednesday.
