NC vote counting continues at snail’s pace

KATHMANDU, March 11:  The counting of votes for Central Working (CWC) members of Nepali Congress (NC) has resumed on Friday morning.

According to the election committee, some 50 votes under open category have been counted as of 11:30 am and results will made public after counting 100 votes.

The vote counting has continued at a snail’s pace today as well. Only 400 votes under open category were counted in two days.

With 400 votes counted till Thursday evening, 14 from the Sher Bahadur Deuba panel and 11 from the Ram Chandra Paudel panel were in the lead to be among the top 25 candidates.

Khum Bahadur Khadka had secured the most votes (242) among them.
