KATHMANDU, March 5: The District Police Office (DPO), Okhaldhunga, has clarified that no clash or firing took place in the district.

The DPO issued the clarification after a news outlet reportedly shared information on Facebook claiming that one person was injured by a gunshot.
Authorities stated that voting is currently continuing peacefully in Okhaldhunga. They also warned that individuals spreading false rumours will be identified and legally prosecuted.
