NC postpones second phase of internal special campaign

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: Nepali Congress (NC) has postponed the second phase of its internal special campaign with the primary aim of bolstering the organizationa-'s strength and effectiveness.



The decision was reached during a meeting of the party’s office-bearers at the residence of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Dhumbarahi.

Earlier, the party's central committee had planned to conduct the second phase of the campaign, aiming to establish direct connections with citizens and communities, from August 27 to September 10.


"Due to the rainy season, the decision to postpone the campaign has been made," said Joint General Secretary Badri Pandey.


The party has decided to complete the setup of fraternal organizations and establish a dedicated department within September 1. According to Pandey, the focus now remains on continuing preparations for the establishment of the department.
