The police arrested seven members of the outfit in possession of a large amount of weapons while they were planning to execute their plan. [break]
The arrested include Hiralal Sunuwar of Rampur-9, Ramechhap, Nabikaran Dhami of Haraicha-8, Morang, Puran Chaudhari, Minkumar Rai from Bhojpur, Bijayakumar Rai from Khotang, Kedar Dahal and Hari Acharya of Itahari.
The outfit has already set off explosives in 15 places in the eastern region in the past.
According to the Police, the outfit had targeted Morang, Sunsari, Dhankuta, Bhojpur, Udaypur, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Ramechhap, Dolakha and Sindhuli that it wants to be declared “Khumbuwan region”. DIG Surendra Bahadur Shah informed that the weapons seized from them were modern and sophisticated.
