Rapti Modern Agriculture Farm has brought the livestock farm, which is extended at around 1900 bighas of land at Fulbari VDC Ward No. 1 focusing the small farmers.As many as 14 youth entrepreneurs have been involved in the livestock farm.[break]
Besides livestock farming, the farm produces various vegetables, fruits, crop development, and herb plantation, among others, said chairman of the farm Resham Khadka.
The farm has some 300 hybrid buffaloes brought from India and they have been preparing to bring equal number of goats. The Livestock farm has taken some land from the local Janakalyan Community Forest on lease for 20 years for grazing.
Around 60 persons have been employed in the farm.The farm would address the shortage of 6,000 liters of milk in the district during the summer season and supply some to other districts, said the farm owners.
