KATHMANDU, Jan 5: The travel restriction imposed on CPN-UML Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been lifted.
The investigation commission formed to probe the Gen Z protests on September 8-9 has decided to revoke the ban on Oli’s foreign travel as well as the restriction preventing him from leaving the Kathmandu Valley.

The decision was taken at the commission’s meeting held on Monday.
The commission had recorded Oli’s statement on Sunday, after which the restriction was lifted, according to commission Spokesperson Bigyan Raj Sharma.
