"Those existing foreign workers, especially whose working permits have expired or are without proper document, they are not allowed to work in Malaysia," the website quoted Zahid as saying.
Malaysia is one of the most lucrative destinations for Nepali workers working in manufacturing, farming and service sectors.
Around 700,000 Nepalis are currently working in Malaysia. The country hires around 200,000 Nepali workers every year.
