The vehicular movement which had been brought to a grinding halt has resumed while market places have opened.
The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) had announced a general strike on August 15. With the strike, the normal life in the Tarai districts including Rautahat, Sarlahi, Bara, Parsa had been hit hard.
Market places, shops, industries, factories, schools, and government offices had remained shut while vehicles had stayed off the road.
Today the vehicles were noticed plying along the road amidst demonstrators carrying placards at Bharat Chwok of Kalaiya of Bara district.
