Landslide sweeps away four houses in Parbat

PARBAT, July 4: Landslide has swept away four houses in Saligram VDC, the south belt of Parbat district.



The landslide swept away two houses of Laxmipati Paudel, and two of Narayan Prasad Bhusal and Amar Bahadur Thapa at Golang of Shaligram VDC-9 on Tuesday.



However, no human casualty has been reported in the incident.



The mudslide that was originated from rural roads in Golang, following the heavy rainfall over the night swept away the houses, said landslide victim Paudel.



After the incident, the victims are taking a shelter at the houses of their kin.
