In his statement before the DAO, Lama has refused to accept the ownership of the bullets found in his locker, CDO Subedi said.
Lama was taken to the Department of Foreign Employment for questioning him on fraud related complaints registered about two years ago.
"We took him to the department but were asked to bring him again on Wednesday because of time constraints," Superintendent of Police Pradhumna Karki, spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu, said.
Lama was taken to Metropolitan Police Circle Office, Singhadurbar, because of the limited space in the Range Office, Teku.
According to the police, a case was registered against Lama by Kesh Bahadur Gurung, the president of Opportunity Manpower Services, stating that Lama had swindled Rs 21.9 million from different people on the pretext of finding them lucrative job offers abroad.
Lama was arrested last week after Commission for the investigation of Authority (CIAA) found 14 bullets in his bank locker.
The anti-graft body has also been intensifying investigations into Lama's properties which it says is disproportionate to his known source of income.
