The KMC has estimated the budget of about Rs 30.3 million for the campaign.

Public Health Division Chief at KMC Office, Hari Kumar Shrestha, informed that they were making plan to manage the stray dogs in the capital city as they were creating problems in managing public traffic and even affecting human health.

Under the 3-year campaign, a census of stray dogs will be conducted as initial step.
