India buries pond dug in Nepali territory

SIRAHA, Oct 30 : The Indian authorities on Tuesday have buried the pond dug up by Indian nationals encroaching on the Nepali territory at Shukhchaina VDC-4 in Saptari. The border security office, Siraha on Monday had drawn the attention of Indian authorities after finding Indian nationals from Kamalbasi VDC digging up a pond in the Nepali territory.[break]



The pond was buried using excavator in the presence of HC Chandan Singh, area commander of the Indian Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), VDC Chairman of Kamalbasi Bhola Yadav and Nepal Armed Police Force Inspector Man Bahadur Pandey along with the locals of Kamalbasi. The land where the pond was dug belongs to Ramkupal Yadav, Ramsebak Yadav, Dhaniklal Yadav and Bijaylal Yadav of Sukhchaina VDC.
