House panel to hear complaints against Acting CJ Karki from Wednesday

KATHMANDU, June 12: A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament decided to hear the complaints filed against Acting Chief Justice (CJ) Hari Krishna Karki from Wednesday (June 14).

KATHMANDU, June 12: A meeting of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament decided to hear the complaints filed against Acting Chief Justice (CJ) Hari Krishna Karki from Wednesday (June 14). 


A meeting of the hearing committee chaired by senior-most member Pashupati SJB Rana said that 29 different complaints have been received against Acting CJ Karki.

In the meeting, the complaints were handed to the hearing committee members who are supposed to go through the complaints on Tuesday and discuss them with the complainants on Wednesday.


The committee has prepared to conclude the hearing process by calling Acting CJ Karki to a meeting on June 15. Today's meeting passed the committee’s revised meeting guidelines.
