Talking to media persons in Biratnagar today, Minister Jha said that the government has completed the bidding process to resume the Biratnagar Jute Mill. The Biratnagar Jute Mill is closed for three years.[break]
Minister Jha said the government is doing necessary homework to resume the closed the Birgunj Sugar Factory, Hetauda Textile Factory and Butwal Spinning Mills.
The government will decide soon whether to give the closed state-own factories on lease or run by the government itself.
Jha also said that the government is working to reduce power outage.
Responding to a query, Minister Jha said rumor of closing the Janakpur Cigarette Factory was wrong and added that problems of the factory would be resolved if financial support was provided factory.
Stating that the government will provide industrial security force for the security of factories run by the private sector, he urged not to habour any doubt on it as the government was fully committed to resolving the problems of the factories.
On a separate context, he said Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai will not tender resignation until consensus was forged among political parties.
