Senior orthopedic surgeon Dr KC has been staging fast-unto-death at the district hospital, Ilam for the last eight days, demanding reforms in the medical sectors.

Dr KC resorted to the 16th fast-unto-death demanding implementation of the agreement reached with government on July 26, 2018.

He started staging hunger strike on January 9 after the Education and Health Committee of the Legislature Parliament endorsed the bill without incorporating his demands.
