Govt official arrested on bribery charge

PARASI (Nawalparasi), Jan 14: A senior official at District Technical Office in Nawalparasi was arrested on the charge of taking bribe from a service seeker on Thursday.

A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Western Regional Office arrested sub-engineer Manoj Yadav from the workplace, said Superintendent of Police Umesh Raj Joshi.

He added that Yadav has been accused of taking bribe of Rs 30,000 for making an estimate to construct a culvert at Kawasoti. RSS
