KATHMANDU, May 29: The government announces a total budget of 1.96411 trillion for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.

Out of the amount, Rs 1.180 trillion has been allocated for recurrent expenditure, Rs 407 billion for capital expenditure and Rs 375.24 for financial management including debt servicing. To finance the expenditure, the government has targeted to generate Rs 1.315 trillion from revenue collection.
