KATHMANDU, Jan 22: An aftershock measuring 4.6 in Richter scale has been felt on wee hours of Friday.
According to the National Seismological Centre, the aftershock was recorded at 1:07 am with the epicenter nearby Salme located in the bordering area of Dhading and Nuwakot districts.
Fresh aftershock felt
The Kathmandu denizens also felt the jolts of aftershock. The details of loss have yet to be ascertained.
The aftershocks are still continuous following the powerful earthquake with its epicenter of Barpak, Gorkha rocked the country on April 25 last year.
The number of aftershocks is so far counted 427 measuring above 4.0 in Richter scale, according to the NSC.
