SURKHET, May 26: Four persons were killed when a passenger bus en route to Nepalgunj from Mugu met with an accident in Dailekh section of the Karnali Highway.
According to DSP Bhubaneswar Tiwari of the District Police Office, Dailekh, the ill-fated bus (Ma 1 Kha 660) fell into the Karnali River at around 8:30 PM on Wednesday from Sisne area that lies in Aathbesi Municipality-2 in the district.

A team of police personnel from a nearby police unit were mobilized to rescue the dead and injured. Further details about the accident are awaited.
