FNCCI’s newly elected leadership assumes office

Under the FNCCI’s statute, the senior vice-president automatically takes over as president. Following the provision, Anjan Shrestha has assumed leadership of the private sector umbrella body along with other newly elected office-bearers.

KATHMANDU, May 7: The newly elected executive committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has officially assumed office.



Under the FNCCI’s statute, the senior vice-president automatically takes over as president. Following the provision, Anjan Shrestha has assumed leadership of the private sector umbrella body along with other newly elected office-bearers.

After taking charge, President Shrestha said the federation would continue engaging and coordinating with the government to help create an environment that boosts confidence in the private sector.


Outgoing president Chandra Prasad Dhakal handed over responsibilities to Shrestha during a brief ceremony held at the FNCCI’s office in Kathmandu on Thursday.
