A shop of vehicle types owned by Mohammad Abbas and an auto-electric shop of Ramesh Kumar Dev gutted following the electricity leakage at 9:30 last night at Biratnagar-14.
The victims said that property worth Rs 1.15 million gutted to cinder in the incident. The fire was brought under control with the help from police personnel, local residents and fire brigade.
Meanwhile, a house was destroyed in a fire that broke out at Pulamichowk in Tandi-8 in the district on Friday evening. The house of Ash Kumar Rai was gutted in the fire that occurred after the cooking gas leakage. It is said that Rs 110,000 in cash and other properties were destroyed in the incident. RSS
