KATHMANDU, May 5: The results of the Electronic Diversity Visa (EDV) – 2016 will be published on Tuesday.
According to US Embassy to Nepal, one can view the results in the official website authorized by the US government. In order to check the entrant status online, one would need the Confirmation Number, Last/Family Name, and Year of Birth.

"Today you can check your DV 2016 status at http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/ using the unique confirmation number you received when you registered," the Embassy informed via Twitter.
"DV-2016 Entrants may enter their confirmation information through the link starting at noon (EDT) on May 5, 2015," the Embassy states further.
The embassy also informed that the DV-2016 Entrants should keep their confirmation number until at least June 30, 2016.
