Dhakal appointed as President Bhandari’s media expert

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Tika Dhakal has been appointed as President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s media expert.

The post is equivalent to that of a state minister. Dhakal has been contributing articles on contemporary political issues of Nepal including peace process and foreign affairs to mainstream print media for the past few years.

Dhakal also worked with the German Embassy in Kathmandu as a political officer in the past. Having worked with various international organizations, Dhakal is also a researcher. He holds a Master's degree from the United States of America. He is originally from Panchthar.
