During the meeting, the Maoist chairman urged the president to endorse the budget as stopping it would have adverse ramifications for national economy, party spokesperson Agni Sapkota informed. [break]
In response, President Yadav said he is not against new budget but reiterated that the budget should be introduced only after forging consensus among political parties, Sapkota added.
Meanwhile, the government is preparing to endorse two-third budget during a cabinet meeting scheduled later today and forward it to the president for approval.
