KATHMANDU, June 11: The meeting of the Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee (CPDCC) fails to start on Thursday as a subcommittee under it is yet to forge agreement on prickly issues.

The CPDCC meet called for 10 am this morning was rescheduled for 1 pm this afternoon. But, the meet has not started as the subcommittee has failed to come up with a report.

Subcommittee member Gopal Dahit informed lawmakers are divided over three issues, adding top-notch leaders have been entrusted to forge agreement on disputed issues.

Meanwhile, the Constituent Assembly (CA) meet scheduled for 3 pm this afternoon has been postponed for 6 pm in the evening.
