KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Citizens Bank International Ltd (CBIL) has opened its new branch office at Damak of Jhapa.
Issuing a press statement on Monday, the bank said that the branch office was inaugurated in the presence of local industrialists, traders and representatives of various organizations.

According to the statement, the branch office of erstwhile Nepal Housing and Merchant Finance Ltd in Biratnagar was relocated to Damak after getting approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank. CBIL had recently acquired the finance company.
The bank now has a total of 56 branch offices, 46 ATM counters and 71 branchless banking services across the country, according to the statement.
