Citizens Bank, Aftab in remittance tie-up

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Citizens Bank International Ltd and Aftab Currency Exchange Limited (ACEL) have signed an agreement for sending remittance to Nepal.

Issuing a press release, the bank said that its deputy CEO Bodh Raj Devkota and ACEL's Director Aftab Ashraf signed a Memorandum of Understanding toward providing remittance services.

According to the release, people in Nepal can get money sent from the UK, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and France, among other 15 countries, through ACEL from 56 branch offices and 3,000 representatives of Citizens Bank.
