Cashmere Outlet, as the store has been named, is spread over 400 sq feet and has on display wide range of pashmina apparels and knitwears for both men and women. [break]Products at Cashmere Outlet include t-shirts, sweaters, pullovers, warmers, shawls, stockings, cardigans and high-necks, among others.
Apparels at Cashmere Outlet are priced between Rs 800 and Rs 9,000, while accessories are available in range of Rs 175 to Rs 2,000.
“We have been manufacturing knitwear for some of the top brands in the world for over a decade. We felt it´s high time we opened our exclusive outlet,” Latika Golyan, director of Tricot Industries, said. “At Cashmere Outlet, people can get apparels as per their need because we are trying to present both classical and western looks as far as possible, by targeting people of all age group peoples.”
According to Golyan, Tricot Industries´ Biratnagar-based manufacturing facility is spread over 14,000 square meters and employs around 200 persons.
Tricot Industries mostly import yarn from China and Italy. It produces apparels from fabrics like pure cashmere, silk cashmere, merino cashmere, cotton, silk, pure merino, soft cotton and linen, among others. It supplies products to leading brands like Zodiac, Madura, Raymond and Color Plus of India and several European brands like Benetton, Tommy Hilfiger, DAKS and Allude, among others.
“We have the largest knitting unit in Nepal,” Golyan said, adding “We believe in making long-term relation with the customers and the suppliers across the globe by providing best quality in the reasonable price,” Golyan told Republica.
Tricot can produce around 250,000 units per month and its annual turnover hovers as $200 million.
Golyan said the company is planning to open exclusive outlets in major cities of the country in the near future.
